Over the past few weeks our administrative team has been working very hard to write an application for NiftyHost that will help automate account functions. Our goal is to provide a more unique experience at NiftyHost. Over the next few weeks we plan to start testing our software and we hope to bring it into live production for every user within the next month.
As always, our main goal here at NiftyHost is to provide a stable hosting environment for the best price, free. We are committed to reducing our operation cost to provide a truly unique hosting experience. With the addition of NiftyPanel™ we will not only be able to allocate more time to providing support, but lower our operation costs of ordering software.
We will have more information posted about this in the coming weeks, and we hope our improvements will not only improve your experience but make our interface more user-friendly.
This site (http://www.niftyhost.us) will be down intermittently for the next 96 hours due to datacenter migration. IPs will be changed during this process, so if you find yourself unable to access the site try flushing your DNS. Client sites will continue to function during this outage. Only the main niftyhost.us site will be affected.
Because this would be one of the sites that would possible have to change a lot if SOPA would pass, this website will be 'blacked out' untill 19-1-2012 12:00. We started with the blackout around 12:00 today (18-1-2012) and it will last for 24 hours. This time is in UCT +1.
A VPS was recently purchased to run the niftyhost.us main site off of. HK and I finished moving over all the new stuff tonight. From now on, you should see things running smoother and with less downtime. If you encounter any funky errors caused by the move, please, let us know!

The main website was down for the majority of today due to a glitch in the database configuration. We are back up now.
No user websites were affected in this outage.

Please note though, that the channel might be a bit silent when you join, since (even though I might deny it sometimes) we have to sleep once in a while, too But just say something in the channel and wait a bit, and someone might answer you
It seems our webhosting stopped it's service so we had to move our site.
After trying to move it to my vps I figured that that would be only a temporary solution, so I decided to buy a hosting account instead.

I would like to apologize in advance for the problem that server 2 has been having.And to make up for the downtime and file problems i have manage to enable FFMPEG on server 2. Also for those who are hosted on server 2 will now have 1gb space instead of the 800mb. Again i apologize for the server problems and I'm working on finishing restoring the accounts on server 2, but you will be given a different password this time.
