Well, Zack, the brand new chip found in the iPod touch 4 DOES allow FaceTime to be run smoothly, as smooth as the commercials. I don't own the latest device but considering the fact that the new chip is the Apple a4 (512MB RAM, overclockable by jailbreak
 ).

Khy, no it doesn't. However, it has been reported since the 2nd generation iPod touch in iFixIt Reports that the touch 2G and above (this includes the 4G) not only has a radio transmitter (hidden) and a more powerful Wireless-N Card inside. These features may be rolled out in a new software release, in the coming months/years, or may not even be touched. Totally depends on Steve Jobs' mood.
